Desantis Patriot Shoulder Rig
This is a ballistic nylon shoulder holster for a large frame automatic and two additional magazines. I have been a big fan of shoulder holsters for carrying heavy autos for several reasons. First you do not have to have your pants sagging or pull your belt too tight. As you can see from the picture there are also suspender style clips to attach to the top of the pants to stop the handgun and the magazines from waving around. This is an additional feature would allow for a wider comfortable fit.
One disadvantage is that it did not come with a "plastic adjustment" tool. This tool is useful when the adjustable snaps that hold the handgun in are using Velcro. The tool helps slide in and get a close fit with out pulling your hair. I had one handy from other holsters, and was able to fit the holster quickly. For those that do not have a tool you can use any piece of plastic that can help move the Velcro retaining straps.
Overall this holster is a "thumbs up" as it is well made, and at a reasonable price. This was purchased this at Cabellas for $57.99. Desantis got this holster right and would service any CCW permit holder well. - Clark
